One of the most important decisions in planning a tennis court is choosing a surface. Ancaster Track and Tennis has
specialized in asphalt courts since day one. The majority of courts in North America are built with asphalt for many
reasons : hardly any maintenance through the year, playable earlier and longer in our Canadian season, attractive
looking, dry quickly, only minor repairs which can be addressed easily, good value for the cost.
Once the court has been paved, an acrylic colour system is applied to create a uniform and textured surface. These
acrylic systems are divided into two categories:
